Kinetics® Floating Wood Floor construction is used in condominiums, apartments, and commercial buildings for the control of impact noise produced by pedestrian footfalls or other impacts. In recording studios, sound rooms, television or movie studios, Kinetics® Floating Wood Floors are selected to reduce the transmission of external noise into the studio. Kinetics® Floating Wood Floor construction is also used for dance and exercise floors with resiliency requirements which comply with standards established by amateur and professional dance groups.   Kinetics® Floating Concrete Floors Model RIM - Roll-out Isolation Material for Floated Floors STC 73 and IIC 70 ratings The Kinetics® Model RIM Floating Concrete Floor is a roll-out system which consists of 2-inch thick high density precompressed molded fiber glass isolation pads, separated by low density acoustical fiber glass. The density and spacing of the fiber glass isolation pads are factory engineered to provide uniform deflection of the floating floor under a wide range of design loadings.
