Kinetics® Liftslab Floating Floor
Model FLM -
Floor Lift Mount for Floated Floors

The Kinetics® Model FLM Liftslab Floating Floor System is primarily specified for areas with regular perimeter contours, and light to moderate or uniform imposed loading (50 to 75 PSF).The system uses Model FLM Isolation Mounts which are placed up to 4' on center each way on top of bond breaker polyethylene which has been laid on the structural floor. Reinforcing bars are then installed across rows of isolators and the concrete is poured. After curing the slab is raised to operating height using built-in jack screws.

The Model FLM Isolation Mount consists of a cast housing with a 2 inch thick high density precompressed fiber glass or neoprene isolation pad, leveling screw, and support lugs for attachment to the reinforcing bars.

Model LSM Kinetics® Spring Liftslab Floating Floors
For Structureborne Vibration & Impact Isolation

Spring Liftslab Floating Floors are typically used where control of low frequency vibrations, impact, and structureborne noise is critical. Standard systems are available with up to 2" deflection springs. Custom systems with higher deflection springs and vents to decrease the stiffness of the en trapped air between the floating and structural slab are also available. Kinetics
® Model LSM Spring Liftslab Floating Floors are used where vibration from equipment, traffic, or transit systems is problematic. Heavy impact noise from fitness/sports activities or other structureborne vibration is also attenuated using LSM isolators.
